Although the effect is some what common, the results are always eye catching. Photographer Oleg Stelmach, aka Elektraua, does an amazing job of using infrared film to transform greenish landscapes into captivating areas of white, icy foliage. The location of this winter wonderland is the recently reopened part of Kiev called “Andrew’s Descent.” The setting with vigorous trees and plant life is given a fresh, wintery look, and exaggerated ivory leaves against a beautiful sapphire sky.
