Last week we posted an article about the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe, now you can watch a video of the stunning car in action. The video offers both a further look and proof that sustainability and performance are not mutually averse qualities in a car. The coupe produces no local emissions and generates an astounding 552kW and 740hp, resulting in a 0 to 100 km/h time of only 3.9 seconds. Based on Formula 1 technology, this SLS model utilizes four independent electric motors to propel itself towards those gaudy numbers, making it the most powerful electric car in the world. Aesthetically, the Electric Drive model offers the same gullwing-door access and retains the seductive lines familiar with drivers and car enthusiasts worldwide. Pricing on the SLS AMG Coupe have yet to be released by Mercedes, look for more information on the new SLS in the coming months.
