Ahead of the highly anticipated 2013 Detroit International Auto Show, Lexus has unveiled the upcoming IS sport sedan. Without a doubt, the new compact car is quite a looker; adopting the brands highly aggressive front fascia which features the hour-glass spindle grille and lower front air intake vents. Signature features includes the integrated LED lights in the front bumper and a blacked out rear diffuser that runs the length of the entire rear bumper. Aside from exterior enhancements, the interior has certainly been upgraded with a high quality design, inspired by the bigger GS & LS stablemates. Drivers will really enjoy some of the adaptation from the LFA supercar implemented into the new IS sedan. Smoked 18″ Y spoke rims, steering wheels, and moving instrument clusters are all inspired by the $400,000 LFA, now available in the F-Sport variants of the new IS sedan.
As the car has yet to make its official debut, official price and performance specs are yet to be announced. But its safe to assume driving dynamics have been improved as they have with the new GS & LS models.
