Lebanese-made LykanHypersport, the world’s most expensive supercar, will be unveiled at the Qatar Motor Show on January 29. The supercar features diamond-encrusted lights and leather interior stitched with gold, setting buyers back £2.2 million. Beirut-based W Motors says it will pump out an impressive 750 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque and will do 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 239 mph, which would make it among the fastest cars in the world. The engine will be a mid-mounted flat-six with two turbochargers.
W Motors teamed up with automotive legends such as Magna Steyr Italia, RUF Automobile, Studiotorino, Viotti, and ID4MOTION to design and develop the LykanHypersport, a process that took six years to complete. The manufacturers will only be making seven of the cars this year.
