Submergence is a new project by international art group Squidsoup. It explores immersion and interaction within volumetric light based visuals created through 8,064 individual points of light. As visitors navigate the vine-like maze, the lights gradually come to life, at first following the interlopers’ movements, or darting away to avoid them, and eventually building into a full-on audiovisual climax.
The installation will be on display at the Gallery ROM in Oslo, Norway through February 17, 2013.
